Sizes are hard to picture on a screen, and the right one depends on where your figurine will live: on a desk, on a shelf, in a memory corner or on the game table. This guide explains how we measure, what each size looks like in real life and how to choose.
How we measure
Every MYTHUMI size is measured on the longest side of the figure itself, base not counted:
- A standing figure: usually the height, from the feet to the highest point.
- A lying pet or a wide pose: the length or the width, whichever is longer.
- A pair: the larger figure's longest side.
- Keychains: measured on the longest side of the charm, without the cord or keyring.
- TTRPG miniatures: measured on the longest side. The round base is part of the miniature, so for a standing hero that is from the bottom of the base to its highest point.

Mini-me and people figurines
The custom mini-me figurine offers eight sizes. Full-colour print runs up to 15 cm and Artist Hand-Finished starts at 15 cm, so the 15 cm size comes in both:
- Full-colour print: 6, 8, 10 or 15 cm (2.36, 3.15, 3.94 or 5.91 in). The smaller sizes suit a desk, bookshelf or compact gift display.
- Artist Hand-Finished: 15, 18, 20, 25 or 30 cm (5.91, 7.09, 7.87, 9.84 or 11.81 in). These pieces are printed in white resin and painted by our artists, with more presence for a shelf or centrepiece.
Other people styles, such as our pop-style figurine, have their own size and finish options. Check the individual product page before you choose.
Pet figurines
The custom pet figurine comes in two finishes, each with its own sizes:
- Full-colour print: Compact 2.36 in (6 cm), Classic 3.15 in (8 cm), Premium 3.94 in (10 cm), our most loved pet size, and Statement 5.91 in (15 cm).
- Artist Hand-Finished: printed in white resin and painted by hand by our artists, from 3.15 in (8 cm) up to 11.81 in (30 cm), in 8, 10, 15, 18, 20, 25 and 30 cm. The 5.91 in (15 cm) size is about as long as a smartphone; the 11.81 in (30 cm) size is a real centrepiece.
Pet sizes follow the pose: the height for a sitting pet, the length for a lying one. A Classic 3.15 in (8 cm) dog lying down measures 3.15 in from end to end, so it sits lower and stretches further along the shelf than a sitting dog of the same size.
TTRPG miniatures
Our custom TTRPG miniatures come in six sizes, each on a round base:
- Tabletop Mini, 1.5 in (4 cm): made for the table, fits a standard 1-inch battle grid
- Adventurer Mini, 1.97 in (5 cm): a bigger hero that still plays on the table
- Standard Hero, 2.36 in (6 cm)
- Veteran Hero, 2.76 in (7 cm)
- Champion / Boss Mini, 3.15 in (8 cm)
- Legendary Display Mini, 3.94 in (10 cm)

Which size is right for you?
- For a desk, a bookshelf or a small gift: the smallest sizes (Classic for people, Compact for pets) fit almost anywhere.
- For a shelf or a mantel: the middle sizes have the most presence for the space they take up.
- When detail matters most: go larger. Very fine details, such as thin strands of hair, tiny text or jewellery, are simplified more on small pieces.
- For a memorial or a centrepiece: a larger size gives every marking and detail room to show; hand-finished pet figurines go up to 11.81 in.
- For the game table: 1.5 or 1.97 in for play, and the larger sizes for heroes, bosses and display.
Try it at home
Still not sure? Cut a strip of paper to the size you are considering and hold it where the figurine will go, along the longest side of the pose: stand it up for a standing or sitting figure, or lay it flat for a lying pet or a wide pose and check that the shelf is wide enough. If you add a display base, allow a little extra room for it. You can also line up quarters edge to edge: a 3.15 in figurine is roughly three and a third quarters along its longest side. Seeing it in place makes the choice much easier.
A note on hand finishing
An artist refines every digital model before it is made. This digital refinement is separate from hand painting. Mini Me figurines are full-colour printed at 6, 8, 10 and 15 cm; Artist Hand-Finished is available at 15, 18, 20, 25 and 30 cm. Pet figurines offer full-colour printing at 6, 8, 10 and 15 cm, or Artist Hand-Finished at 8, 10, 15, 18, 20, 25 and 30 cm. Artist Hand-Finished pieces are printed in white resin and painted by our artists. Our pop-style figurine and TTRPG miniatures are full-colour prints.
